  • explanation: tad said I need to document this ridiculous and crazy life adventure: bailing out of the military to attend art school. so here it is. i'm officially enrolled in the mfa photography program at the academy of art university in san francisco.

background: i know very little about quality photography but i'm learning fast. having flown helicopters and programmed computers for the better part of 15 years, i'm ready to see if the other side of my brain still exists. i'm actually really excited. school (and my cohorts) are truly inspiring. returning "home" to san francisco has been nothing short of amazing. thank you to the good friends who pretend like i never left!!!

if you're not in SF. come visit! and thanks for your support. afterall, your tax dollars are funding this little adventure :).
